Nigeria international striker Victor Osimhen has been award the Ligue 1 player of the week after his debut brace for his new side Lille in their 2-1 victory over Nantes yesterday.
He was Signed for Charleroi for a fee in the region of € 14m, the 20 year old wasted no time in making his mark in the league with the opening goal for his team in the 19th minute of play before scoring the winner ten minutes from full time.
His debut came as a surprise to many considering the fact that he has barely trained with his new team as he arrived one week ago but yet delivered after just three training sessions with the first team.
