The Serie A giants AC Milan and Roma have being showing interest to the Reds over the Croatia international.
It is also understood that the club would take €15million (£13.9m) plus some bonuses taking the deal up to €20m for the centre-back.
Lovren , who is believed to be on just under £100,000-a-week at Anfield , has two years remaining on his currentcontract.
The center – back signed a four-year deal in 2017 and the Reds added the option of another year at that time.
The 30-year-old was not included in Jurgen Klopp’s premier league squad to face Norwich in Liverpool’s 4-1 win on Friday night.
He has been exempted out of first-team squad due to the incredible way Joel Matip stepped up last season to play alongside Virgil van Dijk while the young Joe Gomez is the future in the heart of the the Reds’ defence.
There is still 11 days remaining for a deal to be thrashed out between Liverpool and any interested party in Italy, with the Serie A transfer window shutting on August 23.
